Why?
– Students need bikes and have little income.
– (Hundreds of) thousands of bikes are discarded every year – let’s recycle them.
– It’s fun.

How?
Bring your bike and we will take a look at it. We can fix most things, but not everything if we don’t have the necessary spare parts.

I don’t have a bike
We can possibly give you one. We have some bikes – donated or recovered from recycling areas. If it needs repair (probably), we will help you, but be ready to spend an everning in the workshop fixing it.
Sometimes we are low in bikes. Then try visiting your local recycling station, or check dba.dk, Facebook Marketplace or similar. But don’t pay for it. It is mostly possible to find one for free.

I don’t know how to fix bikes 
We will help you. Start here. 

How can I know it’s not stolen?
It’s probably better to buy one, right? But buying from a private person, is not a guarantee. Recent findings even found that a significant proportion of second-hand bicycles sold by bike shops were, in fact, stolen.
We check all bikes that go through the workshop against the police register. That is not a guarantee either, but it is the best we—and anyone else—can do.

Where can I buy cheap parts for bikes ?
Biltema: Cranks, locks, seat posts, break pads, tyres, penetrating oil.
Føtex (bigger like Nørrebro): Inner tubes.
Jem og Fix: Magnetic induction lights, Swarfega hand cleaning if you go all in.
Harald Nyborg: LED (battery) lights, induction lights, reflectors, tyres, inner tubes
Cykelgear.dk: all kind of parts, but charge for shipping if you buy for < 350 kr.
Bike shops charge 3-4 times more.
